If you registered for our 2026 Hell’s Gate Underwater Clean- up, below please find a list of items needed and our itinerary for the day (Sept 19).

  •   Your certification card.
  •  We are not able to supply air. You will need one tank for the clean-up and another if you want to dive our facility.
  • Float bags for lifting the onion sacks(IDA will supply the onion sacks). This will give you more down time.
  • We have showers but you will want a towel.
  • Everyone will need to sign a release. One is attached you can print and bring or we will have them at the IDA site

Tentative Itinerary is as follows:
Saturday Sept. 19th, 2026

  • 8:00 AM – Registration at IDA facility
  • 9:00 AM – Make your way down to the dock at the IDA property.  (4 divers per boat and please sit with your dive partner.)
  • 9:15 AM – Leave IDA for Hell’s Gate.
  • 10:00-10:15 AM – Be in the water.
  • 12:00 PM – End diving
  • 12:30 PM - Head back to IDA.
  • 1:00 PM – BBQ and Door Prizes
  • 2:00 PM – Raffles
  • (All times are estimated and subject to change.)
  • 3:00 - ??? – Open Diving at IDA Property
  • Overnight camping is available on the property.  There are a couple of spots that have electricity (no water or sewer).  If you would like to reserve an RV spot, please contact the IDA Host, Larua Oakley, at 817-797-6806 or at loakley210@gmail.com.  Tent camping is also available.

Celebrating 68 Years at Possum Kingdom Lake!

Established in 1957 as a spear fishing club, Inland Divers Association is THE oldest dive organizations in Texas. We are a dive club located at Possum Kingdom Lake and our main purpose is to promote Scuba Diving at the Lake, and to help keep PK clean and beautiful.  We are a family friendly group and welcome new members.  Trailer spaces and Regular memberships are limited!  Come check us out!!!
